Tour 1: American sector

Longues-sur-Mer battery, the American Cemetery, Les Braves memorial on Omaha Beach and the Utah Beach memorial

Spend your day ashore on the beaches where the Allies landed on 6 June 1944. We pick you up at the cruise terminal and drive along the Normandy coast to Arromanches, where the remains of the Mulberry artificial harbour still lie offshore.

Continue to Omaha Beach, scene of the hardest fighting of D-Day, then to the Normandy American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, where more than 9,000 American soldiers rest on the bluff above the beach. Finish at Pointe du Hoc, the cliffs scaled by the US Rangers, where the ground is still marked by bomb craters.

Our driver waits for you at every stop and adapts the order of the visits to the time you have. Lunch break on the way (at your own expense), then return to the cruise terminal well before all-aboard.

With the shared shuttle, the programme is the same, but you travel with other cruise guests in one of our 8-seat vans, on a common timing. We send you the meeting time and place on WhatsApp.
